How much does trade credit insurance cost?
The premium is set as a percentage of insured turnover and depends on the sector, the buyers and the history of non-payment. It is usually a small fraction of turnover; the exact price is in the quote.
Can I insure only some buyers?
Most policies cover the whole portfolio, but there are solutions for individual key customers or single transactions.
Is the importer liable for a product defect?
Yes. For products made outside the EU, the importer is liable to injured parties as the manufacturer.
