Information for users of insurance services under art. 325 of the Insurance Code

1. Insurance broker “INS CENTER” OOD, with its registered office and address of management at 46 Akad. Stefan Mladenov St., office 13A, floor 6, section A, 1700 Sofia, EIK 207560726, is entered by decision No. 15-ЗБ/11.01.2024 in the register of insurance brokers kept by the Financial Supervision Commission (FSC), reg. No. 11-696. The registration can be verified with the Financial Supervision Commission, 16 Budapeshta St., 1000 Sofia, switchboard: +359 2 94 04 999, fax: +359 2 94 04 606, email: delovodstvo@fsc.bg, or on the FSC website fsc.bg.
2. The company carries on its business under the trade name “INS CENTER” OOD at: 46 Akad. Stefan Mladenov St., office 13A, floor 6, section A, 1700 Sofia.
3. Insurance broker “INS CENTER” OOD does not hold, directly or through related parties, more than 10 per cent of the voting rights in the general meeting or of the capital of an insurer.
4. No insurer or parent undertaking of an insurer holds more than 10 per cent of the voting rights in the general meeting or of the shares in the capital of “INS CENTER” OOD.
5. In carrying out insurance distribution, “INS CENTER” OOD represents the user of insurance services on the basis of a mandate agreement.
6. Complaints concerning the services provided by insurance broker “INS CENTER” OOD may be submitted to the company’s managing director at: 46 Akad. Stefan Mladenov St., office 13A, floor 6, section A, 1700 Sofia, or by email to info@inscenter.bg. The complaint should state the complainant’s name, telephone number, address and/or email for a reply. Insurance broker “INS CENTER” OOD processes the complaint and sends a reply within 10 (ten) working days of the date of its receipt, to the address or email indicated by the complainant. 7. Complaints against insurance broker “INS CENTER” OOD may be submitted to the Financial Supervision Commission at 16 Budapeshta St., 1000 Sofia, or to the FSC email address delovodstvo@fsc.bg.
8. Insurance broker “INS CENTER” OOD does not carry out insurance distribution on behalf of an insurer; it represents users of insurance services.
9. “INS CENTER” OOD may, under the conditions laid down in applicable law, provide advice in its capacity as an insurance broker on the insurance products it distributes, in accordance with art. 325a(5) of the Insurance Code — on the basis of a fair and personal analysis.
10. Insurance broker “INS CENTER” OOD determines the client’s demands and needs, and its advice to the user of insurance services on a specific insurance, solely on the basis of the information provided by the client in writing for the purpose of determining the client’s insurable interest.
11. The remuneration that insurance broker “INS CENTER” OOD receives for its distribution services is a commission included in the insurance premium under the insurance contracts concluded through its intermediation, and is paid by the insurance company.
