Questions and answers
What does an insurance broker do?
A broker acts on behalf of the client: it analyses the risks, obtains quotes from several insurers, explains the differences in their terms and assists with placement, renewal and claims. Ins Center is entered in the register of insurance brokers kept by the Financial Supervision Commission (FSC).
How much does the service cost?
The broker is usually paid a commission by the insurer, included in the premium. Where a different fee is agreed, this is settled in advance and in writing. Details are in the disclosures under art. 325 of the Insurance Code.
Which insurers do you work with?
We work with more than 20 insurers on the Bulgarian market and with foreign insurers for specialist risks. We will tell you which of them offer cover for your risk.
What do I get when I ask for a quote?
A comparison of terms from several insurers — cover, exclusions, limits and price — usually within one working day. If you have current policies, we review them and mark the gaps. The decision stays yours.
Do you help with claims?
Yes — for our clients. When the policy was placed through Ins Center, we assist with notification, documents, the loss inspection and communication with the insurer — and, if you disagree with the outcome, with a reasoned objection.
Do you work with individuals?
Yes. Besides companies, we insure homes, cars, health, life and travel for families.
